Great Location and Amazing Breakfast

My partner and I stayed at a hotel in Reggio Calabria for a romantic escape. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the train station and the promenade. We also loved that several restaurants and cafes were within walking distance. The breakfast was amazing, with a variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and yogurt. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room lacked some basic amenities such as a comfortable chair and an iron. We also were disappointed that our room had no views of the sea.

Staff were very friendly and as helpful as possible given the language barrier. Our room was spacious and close to the centre of the town. The bathroom had heated flooring which was great.

There was no sitting/lounge room for visitors. Their dining room and bar was big and looked to not be used by many people so a part of this could be set aside for casual seating. There were no lounge chairs in the bedroom so had to sit on the be for reading, tv etc. The shower was tiny. Hard to turn around, bend over although bathroom was big.

Serious consideration. Rooms need air conditioning. At outside temperatgure of 30 deg, internal bedroom temperature much too hot and little chance of coolling with small windows and inadequate ventilation.

The staff was exceptionally helpful, the room was very clean, perfect location, fantastic food, excellent breakfast.

One room didn't have windows that could be opened, making it feel a bit stuffy.

What a great way to start the New Year! the staff was amazing, always willing to help and make us feel at home. the location was perfect, close to transportation and walking distance to all the attractions. the room was spotless and cozy, with a fantastic view.

My only complaint would be the noise level from the street below. It could get a bit loud at night, but the hotel did provide earplugs.
